The Burn Test
Don't take anyone's word for it — trust your own nose. Burn a small pinch of fiber. Caboki releases a clean burning cotton fabric smell, because that's exactly what it is. Synthetic fibers give off a sharp, plastic-like odor. The difference is unmistakable.

The Water Test
Drop a pinch of fiber into a clear glass of water and stir. Caboki's color comes from iron oxide mineral pigments — the same minerals that color clay and stone. They don't dissolve, so the water stays clear. Fibers colored with synthetic dyes bleed, tinting the water within seconds.
That's the difference you feel on a hot day: color that holds through sweat and rain, yet rinses out cleanly with shampoo when you want it gone.

The Patch Test
Rub a small amount into the inside of your forearm and leave it for 24 hours. Caboki is cotton and mineral pigment — nothing else: no preservatives, no synthetic dyes, no animal-derived keratin. A short ingredient list is the reason it sits comfortably on most sensitive scalps.
