It is easy to use Caboki.
For best results, shampoo and dry your with a blow dryer or let it air-dry completely. Style your hair as usual. Don't use hair gel or hair spray before the applications.
Hold the bottle above the thinning area and tilt it at about 45 degree, Gently shake or tap the bottle with fingers to dispense fibers onto the thinning area.
You can adjust the tilt to increase or decrease the amount of fibers coming out of the bottle.
Start from the back of your head and work your way to the front. Slowly build up to a more natural coverage by repeating the application a few times till desired result. Pat your hair very gently with your hand in between applications to disperse the fibers (this is a very important step).
To apply Caboki on the frontal area, place your hand under the hairline to keep Caboki from getting onto your face and eyes.
After application, gently comb hair into place if necessary.
Lastly, spray a few shots of Volume Control Mist onto the applied areas. Hold spray mist bottle about 8 inches (20 cm) away from your hair and point the nozzle towards your scalp. Lightly press the nozzle to release mist onto your hair.
Note: We do not recommend regular hairsprays that you can get from supermarkets, because they tend to weight your hair down (i.e. less volume) and the high pressure aerosol may disrupt Caboki product in your hair. If you don't have Volume Control Mist and have to use a regular hairspray, make sure you hold the spray bottle at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from the applied areas.
Apply too much all at once
With Caboki a little goes a long way. Start with a thin layer of caboki on the thinning area, followed by patting (gently) the area with your hand to distribute the fibers evenly, and then look into the mirror to inspect the result. If necessary you can repeat the process till desired coverage.
Hair too short
Your hair must be at least half inch long for Caboki to be effective. Hair too short? wait for it to grow.
Imitate the professionals (too soon)
After watching our demo videos, some folks try to apply Caboki like the professional does on the videos ("rolling on hair”). As a first time user, you probably will not achieve what pros can (they have done it thousands of times!). We recommend that at the beginning you follow instructions here (eventually you may be able to do like a pro).
Excessive usage of product
Your hair may look 10 years younger with just a little bit of Caboki, however using three times as much would not necessarily make it look 30 years younger, in fact it would make your hair look somewhat unnatural. So if you are 50, forget about what your hair looks like when you were 18, it is more realistic to have your hair go back 5,10 or 20 years. Also remember not to use on areas where there is no or little scalp hair.
It takes practice to achieve the best results. If you initially find it a challenge, don't worry; you will get better at it after a few uses.
Tips: When you use Caboki for the first time, it is helpful to have friends around, you can try the product on their hair or let them put it on yours.
