1) Moroccan Gossypium Herbaceum Fiber
Moroccan Gossypium Herbaceum (also known as Levant cotton, shown left) is a plant that only grows in arid regions of Morocco.
Fibers from this plant have surface optical properties that are very similar to human hair. This is one of the reasons why Caboki gives users perfectly natural look.
Other hair building fibers on the market are made from animal furs (wool), which are not naturally attracted to human hair (hair does not attract hair), in fact they repel each other when rubbed against each other. That’s why you must use their spray glue to bond the fibers to the hair when you use hair building fibers made from wool.
Moroccan Gossypium Herbaceum fibers, on the other hand have strong native affinity for human hair. The following paragraph explains why.
Bonding Between Fibers and Hair
As you know objects with opposite static electrical charges will attract, while objects with like static electrical charges will repel each other. This phenomenon is called static electricity (electrostatic) force. Caboki fibers are attracted to hair due to the same mechanism.
The Triboelectric Series on the right indicates the tendency for a material to be positively or negatively charged. The materials at the top tend to be positively charge, while those at the bottom tend to be negatively charged. Obviously for any two materials, the farther apart from each other, the stronger the electrostatic force (to attract each other).
As you can see human hair and wool are up in the positive camp and almost next to each other while cotton is way down the list near the negative group. Therefore Caboki bonds to your hair more securely – 3000 times stronger than any wool-based hair building fibers.
With Caboki -
- Your hairstyle last longer.
- It better withstands wind, rain, sweat and abuse
- No spray glue or hair spray is required.
- Most importantly, with Caboki you will have perfect natural look , as explained in "Why It's Superior".
2) Natural Mineral-Based Colorants
Virgin Moroccan Gossypium Herbaceum is grayish white. The fibers are dyed into various colors to match human hair colors.
Thanks to the micro-structure of Gossypium Herbaceum, its fiber can be easily dyed with mineral-based colorants - iron oxides, harvested from nature, as shown on the left.
However, animal fur (wool) based hair building fibers can not be dyed with mineral colorants because of the strong cuticles of animal furs. They must be dyed with harsh synthetic pigments (the same chemicals used in human hair coloring).
Therefore, Caboki is the ONLY hair building fiber on the market that is free of synthetic dyes; free of animal products; hypoallergenic, safe to use on sensitive scalp and gives you perfect natural look.
